Boston Crusaders 2018 Finals Day + Giant

Ensemble chunks from Boston Crusaders' finals day rehearsal. I love the very last rep they do, how they all cheer before turning the met on and then blow my ears off.
After ensemble ended, the corps gathered together and all the ageouts sat down in front of the rest of the hornline while they played 'Giant', conducted by ageout Nick Winckel.

My favorite Boston show of all time, I think :) Why did they change the figure at 10:57? I thought the figure w/ the 8th note triplet fit the chaotic mood better, than the quarter note triplet figure that they changed it to. Just curious.

At 1:52, why does he not toss the rifle? Is it a safety thing? I'm curious...

SilverTheFlame It’s always the caption head’s call. He may have said not to do it, or he gave him permission to not toss it if he didn’t feel he could do it safely. Sometimes you’re also just late to a release, and Sometimes members also perform something best cold. I’ve had a trick toss that generally got worse if I worked on it too much that day. There is a lot of reasons he may not have tosses it.
