Looks like a great show. However, not every note needs to be at full blast nor at a sizzling speed. At some point because the show is so intense, it actually becomes numbing.

This is a great show...I truly think Boston should be in the top three this year...placement? Hope they shove it down BDs throats....I do think their props need more symmetrical coverage of the field ...

DF R I don’t know. I kind of like the asymmetric settings. I just hope the props are used as well as Bluecoats did with the half pipes. If it’s below that standard, there little chance of winning. But definitely top 5.

Eddie Tucker I should have added that I think props, especially in the first part of the show, don’t move much...that was my primary concern. Hell everyone I hope going to have troubles with the Bluecoats this year, but BC is benefitting from direct one-on-0nes with the Blooooo and I hope ram it down the throats of some of the west coast snobs...

If one is to watch the drill and guard with no sound you can't help but see Crown. The designers have distinct styles that show up clearly here. I'm anxious for the first time all of the top meet up and get a better idea of how they all stack up. Top six is the same from last year and all of them pushing hard.

shmiller70 I’ll see all the top Corps at Mesquite on the 22nd, except the Cadets. Things should be more fleshed out by then. That’s when I’ll have a better idea of who’s on top. Bluecoats look really hard to beat. It’s fun to speculate!!

Favorite show this year! 2 concerns: 1- they need to work out intonation and blending in that euph/french horn feature in the ballad. It could work, but it's pretty rough right now. 2- love the dude on the stilts, but they should integrate him into the drill better. Cool moment with the guard, but most of the time he just walks around waving his arms. Great energy! Great mix of old/new school! Great writing! Great execution! I'm rooting for them this year!!

My thoughts exactly. They are going to hit a wall with that because once it gets cleaned up they are going to need more depth and I am not hearing that enough. It kinda sounds more like what a band would do, not a World class drum corps.

I've always enjoyed Boston, with my favorite show being 2003 Bravo, but it's just hard to get into them with the new staff. They are amazing, but for the past two years all I hear and see is Cadets(Brass) and Crown( Guard). Boston use to have a distinct identity in my opinion. Anyway I do hope they have a great season.
