@@EdHindel Imagine a paralell universe where we had been givin cell phones. We would have thrown them in the fire or the water cuz we did not WANT TO BE FOUND! We thrashed our way thru the 80`s and as Thin Lizzy said "And if the boys wanted a fight , you better let `em." Muscle cars made in the U.S.A. like Chevelle, GTO, Camaro and trucks and Harley`s as well. Every generation thinks theirs is the best, but look at the concerts and keg parties with live music we had. And the chicks were smokin hot for the most part. What a ride brothers!! I try not to get nostalgic, but I cant help it at times.

Just can't describe that feeling back in the 1980s as we were driving down the road with our windows down, listening to FM radio and that ICONIC riff comes on for the first 7 seconds. Take advantage of today's technology and go back to the start of this song, and listen (REALLY LISTEN) to those first 7 seconds, and imagine a time when NO-ONE had that fuzzy "perfect" Boston tone. Back then, you couldn't just click and play those 7 seconds over and over again. We had a CASSETTE TAPE, and you could "sort of" rewind it a bit, to play that NASTY riff again and again. THE GOOD OLD DAYS.

I was 19 in 1986. Long hair, denim, leather, muscle American made beasts like Chevelle`s and GTO`s Camaro`s, Mustangs, Mopar and GM man! A killer sound system like a JVC or Alpine cranking out the newest album out. We saw a record drop every 6 months , Judas Priest, Van Halen, Maiden, Dio, Sabbath, Scorpions......we lived through the insanity of the 80`s and are still here talking about Generation X !😎💥🤘. We changed the whole ballgame man!

I still knock myself in the head for selling the old cars I did in the 70s & 80s. I'd get them, keep them for a couple of years and move on to something else. Never thought that 30 years later they'd cost five figures for something really nice.

I lost my sweet husband of 40 years in February. We started dating in 1981. Boston was his favorite band. Everytime i hear one of their songs it takes me back to our teenage dating years. I could hear him pull onto my street with Boston playing wide open in his car. Oh such sweet memories. Wish we could start all over again at 16. His funeral service ended with Don't Look Back. I miss him every day.

The otherworldly clarity and production of this album still blows me away, man. Everything is just so perfectly placed…the vocals are layered and EQ’d exactly as they should be. It’s Steely Dan caliber. For a guy who had essentially no experience in professional music production at the time of his debut, Tom’s ear and musical instinct were unimpeachable. By the time they did this album, he was perfectly dialed in for his own purposes. I don’t think the general population understands how incredible that is. Guys apprentice and study for YEARS to get their records sounding *half* as good as this…

How great are the messages in Boston songs? 1988, I had my neck broken after getting rear ended by a Boston police car. Accidentally. 1989, back and neck surgery. I chose to recover without pain meds as I realized many friends had developed addiction issues. These songs are the reason I'm walking right now and never gave up or looked back to pity myself. There's an energy and vibe in this music that is unique and I'm sure has empowered many to overcome misfortune and achieve. Thank you Boston for helping me through all the physical therapy and enduring the pain.

I wish i could go to a Boston concert. I grew up to my grandparents listening to them and it just amaze me the talent is amazing. Brad Delp was my fave. He’s got the most beautiful pristine tone without even trying.

Last of a dying breed that was born n raised on this kind of music. I won't let it die, I'll teach my kids to rock hard too. Old rock, heavy metal, folk rock, country, all of it. God bless America & God bless Americans. We need it more than ever. 🇺🇸✝️🔥 In a world of shitty music these days, I'll play these gems til the day I die.

Had the pleasure of meeting Brad and Barry at Avalon when they had RTZ happening. I DJ’d at Axis next door which bands playing Avalon used as a dressing room. I went up to Brad and Barry and said “I grew up listening to u guys!…” Brad stuck his hand out and said “Thanks so much man! It means a lot! Hope u can check out our band tonight, we think we have some great stuff!” Dude was still grounded…did not matter that he had unbelievable success…incredible
