@@amateur_football9751 Chiropractors deal with dislocated or misaligned bones, joints, nerves and other stuff. Body is complex, and many things are related and connected. Like your standing posture; some people love standing 1 leg straight and the other slanting, in the long run, this will cause 1 leg to be shorter than the other, the shorter leg (the bone & nerve) is basically pushed up higher towards the body. This can eventually affect the SI joint, causing them to be off-balance (1 higher/lower than the other). This in turn can affect the spine causing a curvature known as scoliosis, which can make u feel pain or other form of discomfort. A chiro can make some adjustments (such as leg pull) to re-establish equivalency in the length of the legs, adjusting the SI joint (pulling/pushing up/down) back to its original position, execute some decompression on the lumbar, thoracic to release the locked up gases as well as the y-strap (or whatever names there is) for the entire spinal decompression to straighten out the spine from its curvature or bended form. It's not just for sensation, although that comes along as a result of the adjustment.

There are chiropractors with several different licenses who can address specific issues that other chiropractors cannot. Some chiropractors just work you out and never address your specific problems. Others have licenses to do dry needling and adhesion release techniques that absolutely work. It took me a long time to finally figure out that not all chiropractors have the same education.

I don't believe that that chiropractor can fix a herniated disk, let alone 5. The disks don't magically get fixed and having before and after mri's would show that. Her pain maybe temporarily better but a lot of times that is in your head because you want a solution other than sudisc's. It doesn't last long. Also Steroid Injections don't alway's work, especially when you've got severely herniated discs.

Pretty often and it does absolutely nothing to fix the problem. It is temporary (albeit excellent) relief. But within a day or two of walking, you will be back to before without fixing the actual problem causing the bulging discs.

It's permanent if you now focus on the route of the issue, which is strengthening where the weak links are. Simple exercises daily and posture focus will help prevent you from returning back to your previous state.
