I loved Be Nothing and was a little worried with how the new record would hold up but this and Halo have blown me away. It's such a mature sound for them and fits them so well. I'm calling it now, they're gonna blow up after WTTN is released and I'm all here for it.

ninjalemurdude Yes, of course I have. But I still believe this song sounds nothing like that album...the tone of this song sounds “rock”, while Brand New in general has that “emo”/grunge aesthetic. I would say Brand New is even reminiscent and references Midwest emo bands (Mineral or American Football). This isn’t “hardcore” enough, is what I’m essentially saying.

There’s no “realness” of the conveying emotion; the overwhelming instruments are drowning out the vocals, so I don’t feel anything with this song. Now, go back to Brand New and compare the differences; I mean, listen to the songs and you’ll notice how technical this song is in comparison.
