Boston Marathon 2023

It took me a long time to qualify and another long time to finally earn a bib for Boston. But this year, I finally did it. There isn't another race that's like this, and I now understand why people keep coming back, year after year.

This is an incredible video, Kofuzi! It captures so much of the emotion, challenge, and grit that takes place in a marathon. Ran my first one last year and ended up blowing up early in the race. I’m autistic and i have a lot of anxiety in social situations, but it was still really cool to get a photo with you! I ended up just breaking my 2:55:00 goal with a 2:53:51! Super fun course! keeps you on your toes with the constant grade changes

If you ran this Boston Marathon without holding a camera on a pole for recording the journey, I strongly believe you will finish it well under 3 hours. However, thanks for recording it for us to watch on KZbin. The weather was cold, wet and windy head on, running with a pair of soaked shoes was indeed a burden and an uncomfortable feeling all the way! It is so great to have a good buddy ( i.e. Tony Macias ) to run this tough marathon with you and to finish it together!

Our flight were canceled and I missed the shakeout run. Barely got my bib. What an EPIC day!!!! Hills were easy, kiss in Wellesley awesome and beer in BC just what I needed. I ran easy and BQ'd by 13 minutes...354 days until 2024!!! Loved seeing your race and how well you ran!!!!!
