This whole album was created by one guy, who played all the instruments except drums, in his basement on recording equipment he built. He had a friend of his to add the vocals.

The band that is so good that they named a major city after them. That hand clap effect was used a lot in the 70's. When used right, it could drive that music straight into the heart like a sword in the hand of Achilles.

EVERY single thing; every song on this album was out of this 🌎World-phenomenal!!! You reminded me of first time hearing this back in the day. Replay, replay, replay, replay! When this came out in 1976, it took the music Industry by storm. Nobody had ever heard sounds like these before, which were created & played by Tom Scholz. He wrote & played all the parts except drums & vocals (Brad Delp), then later tracked & layered them in his basement. The mind-blowing laser & space ship sounds were his guitars, played through equipment he invented, not synthesizers. MAJOR game changer & best selling debut Rock Album in history.
