@@jojojojojojojojojojojojob As a huge fan, I have to say Led Zeppelin were notorious for some subpar live performances despite the very high production quality of their albums. Now again, I am a HUGE fan and I love their live sound, it's raw and it's real, and it's just the four of them with no additional musicians, but it certainly does not sound like their studio sound.

In the mid 70's I was a kid serving in the Navy aboard the USS America ( aircraft carrier). In 1976 we had been in the Mediterranean for most of the year and were getting ready to go back to the world (US) when someone's girlfriend sent him a Boston cassette tape. It just blew us away. By the time we reached Norfolk a couple of weeks later that tape had been duped hundreds of times. We sun-bathed on the flight deck on the way across the Atlantic listening to Boston and we knew every word to every song by the time we made it home.

Were you listening to the same thing I was? Boston is one of my favorite bands of all time. And Brad is a helluva singer...in a studio. But he struggles mightily on stage with his high notes/falsetto.

That drummer's singing was piss poor. A joke
@Waddledoodle694 ай бұрын
@@snakedoktor6020 In this performance, it seemed like Brad just got psyched out that Sib's harmony was pretty much silent in most parts. He was practically eating the mic and you can barely hear him because it was turned down so low. You can even see it from the look on his face. You come to depend on the familiar sound and arrangement of a song you've played hundreds of times, especially with vocal harmonies. When they're suddenly not there, it can throw you off. Especially during a big moment like that.

Classic Rock of the 70's and 80's had those signature bands that were one of a kind and it was a moment in history that will never be again. I remember as I was growing up then. I miss it. Everything seems so manufactured these days. Maybe I'm just getting old. But, the world seems so stale now - a shell of what it was when I was growing up.
