I did time with sparky, multiple facilities, I was involved in a lot of shit he mentioned, and I can verify he is no punk, he fights, and I have never seen anything in black and white on him. With that said, Upstate Massachusetts is like a gossip column, everybody has something to say about the next man, people throw rocks at things that shine. I don't agree with everything said in this interview, but I respect his message, and being a formerly incarcerated individual, in recovery, that worked in the field myself, I wish him the best. I did eleven years 5 months on a 10-12, with 10 Mando, and the one thing I learned Upstate is that no matter what you do, your whole life, to be solid, and make a good name for yourself, can be completely shit on over lies and BS, it ain't worth it. Get sober, get spiritual, stay off the streets, and great things will happen for you. We Do Recover..

I was a teacher for DYS, Lakeview in Peabody and Essex County House of Correction so I know some of the unspoken rules, like how the state transfers inmates by surprise in the middle of the night to different prisons.

I did time in Boston first Nashua street then concord next concord farm and got a dirty from a halfway house in lyyn ended up in walpole then maxed out .when u caught a dirty in a halfway house in 98 99 thay would send u to boot camp in Bridgewater.from ther I ended up in walpole and maxed out. I did the easiest time in mass ..this change but in the yearly 90s was sweet .I did 3 years an 1 day ..

Can you explain how subs don't help? I used to hustle heavy and wound up with a habit. Kicked dope for good eventually out of detox. I have family fucked off the fentanyl, and it seems like nothing takes, rehabs, multiple detoxes, subs... The fentanyl wasn't omnipresent or popular when I was fucking' around (like 10yrs+ ago); so it's hard for me to understand how this shit has such a strong, ruthless grip on my folks. It's eating my soul. If you could give me perspective I would appreciate it. 🙏

No dude I’m in the middle of a fent addiction. It’s all white or tan or blue mysterious powder that the smallest line could kill and first time try. Subs to work cause you have to wait Atleast 6 days with nothing if ur addicted to fentanyl even if you’re really sick cause the fent stays in fat cells for a long long time and if you take buorenorphine it will throw you into something called precipitated withdrawal and it’s worse then even the withdraw itself you’ll need to go to a damn hospital. Methadone will help but going to a clinic everyday doesn’t work for my work Schedule. Higher doses will help if you don’t use on top of it. These addiction specialists weren’t prepared for the fent differences in withdrawal and detox care

Appreciate your comment. I know plenty of cases where you're right but NOT ALWAYS. Plenty of loudmouths who actually back it up. McGregor, Tyson Fury, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson just to name a few.
