I remember the ice man and the rag man. My grandparents lived in Roxbury, on Eustis St. People that grew up in the South End, hate the changes that have been made. They it has been yuppiefied. Nice video.

Does anyone remember the Pelham Cafe?? I believe it was on the corner of Washington St and Pelham St. There was an MTA stairwell right in front of the front door of the cafe.

She was alcoholic but we did not know that, only she loved this dirty loud seedy place and no ventilation for the cigarette smoke. I heard of Harry's place.

Then in the 70‘s the Gays started buying and renovating and now you can neither afford to buy nor to rent. It has become a very beautiful area but very exclusive
