I remember the ice man and the rag man. My grandparents lived in Roxbury, on Eustis St. People that grew up in the South End, hate the changes that have been made. They it has been yuppiefied. Nice video.

This is the way the ethnic communities should be. They had their own areas/parishes and were family.

Does anyone remember the Pelham Cafe?? I believe it was on the corner of Washington St and Pelham St. There was an MTA stairwell right in front of the front door of the cafe.

@@ashtonwoodruff2000 Thanks for the response. I was very young when my dad was called by the bartender to come over and get his sister, who was stoned to the gills. She was alcoholic but we did not know that, only she loved this dirty loud seedy place and no ventilation for the cigarette smoke. I heard of Harry's place.

Then in the 70‘s the Gays started buying and renovating and now you can neither afford to buy nor to rent. It has become a very beautiful area but very exclusive

What's the instrumental playing at the beginning of the video? I remember it from some advertisement or TV theme long ago, but don't know the name of the song.
