Thank you for posting this. Kenmore Sq. has changed drastically since the 90s - it used to be real gritty and dirty. @7:14 was a Howard Johnson Motor Lodge way back when. I remember eating at the restaurant as a kid in the early 80s. @11:17 the Center for Computing & Data Science was a huge parking lot. I think there was a small Dunkin Donuts there, too. @19:22 down the stairs on the right was the BU game room (arcade) in the 90s.

Wow, nice recollection of Kenmore Square and BU! I def remember a lot of that time as I started seeing a lot of Boston in the late 80s/early 90s.

In the 1990's, Stephen Mugar donated $4 million to BU to do renovations in the Mugar library. A few years later he asked to see the finished renovations. Turns out BU spent the money on other things. BU refunded the $4 million to Mr. Mugar.
