Makes me so homesick! My native Boston and New England will forever in my heart and soul will be true “Home” to me! From my addresses in Bay Village, South Boston, and 294 Commonwealth Avenue in Back Bay, I had walked everywhere and have so many fond memories! I loved this video, and also noticed between the time this was produced until this day in 2022, the skyline has grown much more including One Dalton, all the skyscrapers in and throughout the West End, Winthrop Square, Seaport District, as well as work-in-progress South Station Tower and others. Boston, the most European city in America!

Like you, I was a great walker-in-the-city at one time. I've hiked just about every street, alley and footpath seen in this wonderful video a hundred-odd times over the years (maybe we passed one another on the sidewalk between Gloucester and Hereford) and every shot comes with memories. Having some (I hope temporary ) mobility issues since just before the lockdown and this footage makes me homesick for places only a mile or so away. As the song says: "I Love that dirty water,/Oh, Boston you're my home."

I'm a born and raised Bostonian and I couldn't be more PROUD to be from there. I grew up less than 8 miles from TD Garden (it was called The Boston Garden and then The Fleetcenter when I was growing up there in the 90's and early '00's. However having said that, I knew when I left there to join the military in the early '00's I would NEVER be moving back because their politics had gotten out of control as well as the cost of living. The crazy part for me to consider/realize is that I've lived in North Carolina nearly as long as I lived in Boston. I lived in Boston for 19 years and have lived in NC for 17 years with 3 years in Alaska in between the two! I will ALWAYS call Boston my HOME and I'm just sorry that they had to allow their leftist politics RUIN EVERYTHING about that city/state and region! Especially when it comes to sports because there wasn't a more DIEHARD FAN of the B's/Sox/Pats than me. I also always supported the Celtics but being a 5'6" 175 lbs White man basketball was never my thing but I would still watch them when none of the other teams were playing! Unfortunately, as of now being a disabled combat veteran, I can only support The Bruins because they're the ONLY professional team and league that has been completely INFECTED with the leftist/woke VIRUS!! Hopefully they don't tread down that path either because I don't want to lose them like I lost The Sox and The Pats...it is interesting how both of them are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and have been since I stopped watching them. I'm NOT suggesting there's a correlation, I just find it ironic. Like a GREAT MAN once said: "Eberything Woke TURNS TO *HIT!!"
