Love this concept. A decade ago I was in high school and thought a girl was staring at me during the “pledge of allegiance” and I yawned just to see if she would “catch it” and yawn too. She did! I had a feeling that this person would stare at me for a while and this proved it to me!

Interesting. I am very empathetic and for me, a yawn is a sign that I am suffering from depression. I guess that there are other weird cases with yawning. Is there some medical use for the yawn? Maybe it is a tell for yourself, It helps your hind brain communicate with your forebrain.

Yawning is an automatic response the body does to get in more oxygen. We tend to shallow breathe at night and such and the body makes up for it by yawning. This is just one reason.
