Looking forward to part 5 with great anticipation as I've finished a little folio up to end of part 4 closely following your videos. Nowhere as neat as yours and I only had a thin buff folder which certainly now looks old and almost falling apart, after tossing it around my desk for 3 days. Have ordered some heavy weight manilla folders and determined to make another, minus all the mistakes I made first time around. Such an enjoyable project, love your style and thank you for sharing your creativity so generously in this tutorial.

I’m going to give this a go, I’m struggling with no measurements and have already messed up the basic cover! LOL! I understand you’re not giving measurements though. We don’t have those file folder in Australia ours don’t have the tabs on the sides. This will be a challenge! Love your work.

thanks so much Sandra. I just use a page from a book I want to use for the collage and backgrounds as my "template" for sizing. Mine ended up about 125mm x 185mm using the book I choose to work with. With the spines you can make them whatever size you want depending on how much bulk you want to add in to pockets etc. Generally I tend to make my middle spine 3 times the width of the small flap spines (I think this one was about 15mm for the central spine and 4-5mm for the smaller flap spines) but I'm not measuring that out, I'm just roughly eyeballing it. Remember this is your folio so there is not right or wrong! If you are just using normal cardstock, rather than the file folders you can just create the flaps without the tabs or have a go at cutting them with scissors. Have fun experimenting and creating 💜
