Funnily enough, this music CAN be ligitimenlty considered a song for dancing. (AKA, if you ask, they MIGHT just play it at homecoming.) The base guitar of Smash 4 covers the beat of the music, the repetition of Can't Hold Us covers the repeated Refrain, and Space Jam Provides the beat of the dance. The things that are holding it back is Space Jam's lacking in Lyrical Value, as it is very repetitive for a song to dance to, and a proper ending. Also there is a section where the Ladies sing where the beat of Slam Jam drops, but Smash 4's doesn't, making a very awkward moment, especially for dancers who are dancing on beat.

There already is, two in fact. Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for the DS and basketball is included in Mario Sports Mix for the Wii, and if you want to count the playable Mario guest characters that appear in NBA Street V3 for the Gamecube then go right ahead.
