Botany Bay Kingfish Madness!!!

In today's video you will see the recent efforts from our latest kingfish trip. We caught a total of 6 kingfish with the largest going 84cm!!

Nice video! Do you live bait even the big squids or just smaller ones? Have u ever done strips with the larger caught squids and had success?

Yeah mate, we definitely use the larger ones for live bait. And yes squid strips do work aswell

Hi mate, can I use the crab trap at botany bay? DPI said crab trap can not be used in ocean waters.

Hi, going to Botany Bay in the next few days, about what time where these catches and were they all at the same place/where did you find them, thanks

Hey mate, ideally you want to be fishing the run in tide up to about 10am we find they tend to slow down alot as it gets later In the day these catches were at the end of the oil wharf but kingfish move around alot so it's best to hunt for them

84cm! Good size for Botany Bay. Do you anchor or drift? What depth are you fishing?

We do a mixture, sometimes we anchor and pump a burley trail, on the day in question we were just drifting through. We have found success with both methods in the past. Cheers,
