In every country there are "American Society of Plastic Surgeons" certified doctors, maybe if people looked for doctors there instead og going to some slum, they wouldn't have this awful experiences. I love this show, but I hate the way it portrays some countries, Dr Nassif is always very respectful, but Dr Dubrow has gone so far as to say that doctors in Latin American countries do not use adequate sterilization techniques, really? I've spent my 42 years of life in Ecuador, I've had 4 surgeries (2 C sections, gallbladder removal and a very complicated orthopedic surgery after I broke my arm) and I'm alive and well; my 78 year old father had an open heart surgery 3 months ago and he's perfectly fine. if people did not go to the cheapest places in these countries, this would not happen

completely agree, my ex boyfriend was from turkey and he told me he had 37 scars on his face, I couldn't believe it! my leg scar that I got 10yrs ago looks worse than all of his. every country has good doctors, some are even better than here

Thi woman had more than her nose fixed: Look at her jaw now. She didn't know her nose was broken in the surgery! Probably. inadequate or no informed consent. Think about this: if you go outside the U.S. for surgery, and something is botched what legal recourse will you have?

Possibly but since there's still some folding there she's most likely using face tape where it's hidden up in her hair and pulled tight to smooth the skin.

The would be competitive body builder would do well to look to his training schedule and to his technique whilst lifting firstly you NEVER train everyday rest and recuperation is essential to muscle growth as is diet and supplementation. And also you always work through the entire range of movement when lifting AND use a training partner/spotter who is of your weight and strength Mommy can't save you if you faulted during a lift your spotter must be able to take the weight of what you are lifting

It might be that the clients always wear minimal makeup and have a serious facial expression in the before pic, and are all done up with hair and makeup plus a huge smile in the after pic. It's TV, and they feel the need to enhance the results, but it would be interesting to see them looking as close as possible to the before pic after everything is done.

Cosmetic surgery in a 3rd world county, what could possibly go wrong? I spent 8 years in Ecuador and I would never have any kind of surgical proceedure done there. Don't shop price in these procedures, your body is too precious to take chances.

I live in Mexico City, had my nose fixed 4 years ago, amazing surgeon, amazing clinic, amazing results; cheaper than in the U.S., but not excessively. People in this show... they go to awful clinics, with sketchy doctors, pay 5 pesos and expect to get good results, it's their fault. I bet Ecuador has amazing doctors as well

I've lived in Brazil my entire life and everyone I know who has had surgery, including plastic surgery, had amazing results. And, depending on the surgery, you don't even have to pay for it because we have free healthcare. The people in this show go to a random underground place and have surgery with someone who is not a doctor and then say the problem is the whole country. If it were, we'd all be dead already.

There's definitely filters being used, their irises are bigger in the after. I have a feeling they've used something on the eyes to make them bigger, a "head shrinking" filter and V shape jaw filter as well. Pretty standard for Asian beauty filters.
