In July 1997, a community is shaken when three coffee shop workers are shot to death at a Georgetown Starbucks. Investigators work hard to figure out if this was an act of personal vengeance or a robbery gone wrong. After narrowing the suspects to one man, Carl Cooper, FBI agents begin surveilling him to bring him to justice.

The FBI Files is an American television docudrama series. Each episode describes actual FBI cases which include murder, narcotics, bank robberies, and kidnapping as well as other crimes. These are portrayed through dramatic reenactments and interviews with agents and forensic scientists who worked on the investigations.
