Ref Nurses .. I'm an ex coal miner. Involved in a roof fall and trapped, with a back and neck broken in 8 places. Took three hours to get me out, and when we got to hospital I was greeted by the nurse, an old girlfriend! Any road up, in hospital, we re-kindled the old relationship! Didn't take her home again, but for a few painful days I was in bliss. Morphine for the pain, a Nurse for the 'healing' .. Mind, that was in about 1982 ish, and I'm fine now apart from a stiff right shoulder ... Could 'a bin worse .. 😜
