Hey everyone! Welcome to the continuation of our Scrap Mechanic co-op survival adventure! In this episode kAN and I set out to do a several small tasks in order to prepare ourselves for adventuring again! Our main goal was to grow some food so that we would not keep starving to death while looking for a place to live! We also had to retrieve the logbook, cut down a LOT of trees (not sure why), find component kits, build a refinebot, and upgrade our vehicle to collect and refine resources! Most of that went well....the farm did not go well at all :P Check out the video to see what happened and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed playing it! See you next week!

I find that building a small farm on top of one of the isolated elevated sites helps a lot in the beginning. Examples are the two high mountains on/near the starting tile, or at the Trader on the mountain ridge.

In the future, make a wall and then just make a horizontal wall attached to it. It will help save you from making too many walls and still keep the bots away

If you water your plots before midnight then start planting just after, you'll be able to harvest before the bots arrive. You'll still get the raid but even if you die you wont have lost the crop.

@@spacewalk3046 No, there's not a raid if you've no crops the day before , just start planting exactly at midnight, basic crops will mature by about 10pm (22:00). Then you should be able to harvest them before the raid starts at midnight. If there are no crops to attack the bots will come after the player but even if they kill you, your inventory remains safe in your bag and can be retrieved either after you kill them all or at 4am when they leave.

I've figured it out Kosmo, you're clearly the imposter. What other explanation is there for building a beacon when those same resources could have provided an infinite loop on the craftbot and for filling your entire food and water bar before going into combat?

A bit ago I accidentally made 4 connect tools... I meant to make metal blocks damnit! I had it on metal blocks when i exited the craft bot and I went back to quickly make some metal blocks to make a refine bot, but I accidentally made a bunch of connect tools... and I cast them off into the ocean.

Lol yeah same for me. Except I made 6 paint tools AND I needed glass, metal, and components, all of which are used to make paint tools. I wasted 18 component kits that day.

If you plant lvl 1 crops in a 3x3 Pattern there will be no raid.

Put it in exactly the right place and it works for a 6x6 pattern too. That's how I do it on new worlds until I get the spud gun.
