Most of the bots are made by the game dev company themselves to prevent people from earning and crashing their tokens 🤣 , Revv, Gods Unchained, everything related to Animoca Brands etc

@@OnChainGaming It's not about decentivizing players, it's about CONTROLING the PRICE. Good luck getting those impossible times in top 10 for REvv. Beating GodsU bots with RNG 1000% working 4 them and full OP cards. Or in Mir4 mining when 40 company bots are atacking you and occupying LITERALY EVERY mine in the game.

No way to avoid that, accept the bot is one natural way to move on. If a game is designed as PvP, earning mechanism can be design as winner get reward and loser deduct. Then bot will need to face the risk when they lose. If bot can still take big advantage in game, which only means the game design is not balance enough. But If it's a PvE, I have no solution for that...

Bots can get better than every hunan player at high skill games, even professionals. With incentives for winning higher than they've ever been, bad bots must not be able to exist.

I believe some games are looking for solutions on bot by their complexity. All games suffering from Bots are way too simple. Aurory and Illuvium for example, are looking for ways to beat that. Aurory aims to seek the creation on complex quests systems and enough game interactions to beat simplistic bots. And when it comes to PvP, the mechanics are too complex to significantly bot them in my opinion, and with constant game updates and new Nefties added every 6 months, metas will constantly change.

Games should embrace bots, simply don't give them advantages over human players. This is accomplished with an on-chain game state so that game rules can be enforced on bots, such as cooldowns, level requirements, etc. If game devs play their cards right, bots can even strengthen the game economy.

Bots are not the real enemy here and with smart game design/systems they are negligible on a game economy with a decently large userbase, the necessity to add client side compensation techniques to fully authoritative servers, lower checks, keep the ping up and related exploits coming from that are the culprit to ruin economies.
