James, batteries problems happen around the world it is classic James and Kristen travels with animals and a light show, I'm glad you had an interesting time of it, that's what honeymoons are for, sitting by fires under a tree, enjoy your togetherness.

I love these honeymoon videos, I also love my home comforts and think each time i watch how utterly amazingly calm you are with the issues that befall you,. Car breakdowns , tyre in early episode, fridge not chilling , almost breakage of wine glasses ! Are you totally omitting any heated marital discussions or are you both saints 😇😂❤️. Another excellent episode. Shame they have to end .

Love these eclectic vignettes. Beautifully shot, whimsically edited, selectively peppered with brief musical moments to pop with delight. Captures the ephemeral nature of, well, nature....and life, while building the narrative. Well done. I hope you will find venues to enter this series for consideration.

Lock downs here in my state of Pennsylvania in the US are starting to end. Hopefully that means my husband & I will be getting back to work for the first time since 3/16. But we want to sincerely thank you for sharing your honeymoon with us. Despite the setbacks the times you got to just spend together alone by a fire talking will be with you forever. I look forward to your return to the safaris although if we are working we bake for a living and have a tv with youtube so we will still be able to listen while we bake away in the early hours here.

Hilarious comments re children :-) LOL. ... and Kalahari insects... we experienced same at Kielie Krankie after a May thunderstorm - horrendous! Shame, so frustrating that you couldn't turn car off ... and then when you did it wouldn't start!! Makes for a great story though! Love those bush showers - another lovely episode - sorry for your troubles but all was fine in the end... and great meerkat footage!

I thoroughly enjoyed the new episode every week, and also passed the link on to all my "wild life" fanatic friends. They also love it. Perhaps consider making a little "my wify and I " series, about different well known Game parks on the African continent. Get another 4x4 manufacturer to sponsor you. Please tell us what equipment you used, below the video - excellent quality

Thoroughly enjoyed viewing Episode 5! (How did we get to 5 already!) You have a perfect blend of personal experiences and what was seen that relates to my own experiences of travelling and camping in Kenya and really makes me feel I'm part of your journey. Kudos for modulating the sound for a better volume balance between music and vocal. Just one protest: 11 minutes is far too short! Sad to think the last one is nigh. But thanks for all!

Someday when you hit the “big time” James (or Kirsten!) you will go on a luxurious trip somewhere in this world. And even though it will be very comfortable and elegant, it may never have the emotional impact of your spartan, but love-filled, honeymoon camping adventure filming in the Kalahari! Both of you are brave to do this!
