It’s a great piece! It looks really nice on you, and I like your two tone pants. I want to get it in the Grape color, as that will be most practical for me. You should also mention that the strap is detachable, as the piece can be worn as a clutch. In that instance, you could definitely make it a little dressier for evening. You are able to adjust the strap and wear it shorter and longer, over your shoulder. I really love the multiple ways you can wear this piece. I feel it’s a good investment, in that sense. It has a classic feel to it, and will go forward, IMO.

Sorry for the late reply! Since the bag doesn't have any glazing (except the strap), the sides and corners get really dirty. Those areas are grayish/black compared to the rest of the bag. It scratches really easily too. The bag overall looks more yellowish than when I first got it. I think with a white bag, you have to go in knowing that the bag will get dirty.

hi!!! i loved your review..... it was so on the point!!! i would like to ask if the strap can go longer so that i can wear it crossbody. i dont mind being under the hip i wear crossbody bags over my hip. thanks

You can wear it on your shoulder but it doesn’t drop too low. It drops above the hip.

Did you come across the shinier calfskin version when you purchased the bag? I'd love to add a white bag to my collection and this might just be it. I'm just nervous about stains and yellowing over time. The calfskin version seems more hassle free but I don't like that the leather doesn't wrap around the inside of the bag. How has the lambskin held up over time? Thanks!

The calfskin version wasn’t released when I got the bag. The lambskin is definitely much more delicate 😞😞 there’s some yellowing and noticeable scratches/wrinkles and I’ve only had it for a few months.

The strap is removable, but there’s no way to change the configuration. You can definitely wear it on your shoulder tho.

@@Danguac Absolutely shocking. I’m just getting back into luxury after a long hiatus and I used to shop from Bottega Veneta eons ago (before the age of influencers). They were almost up there with Hermes although they did not attract any young clientele (back then). I’ve seen some drastic changes happen to the house branding and so I will definitely be checking out their leather goods to see how things have fare. Thank you for the review!
