Hi - Have just watched your video on the Labelroo machine. Could you tell me if the machine will hold a label spool which is 16.5cm in height? My labels are only 11cm in height but are supplied on a larger spool. Many thanks.

How much weight can it withstand? I wonder if this would be suitable for 900g jars

Black Mountain Honey I got a lebelroo, new labels arrived today for the 4oz jars but can't seem to get them to stick to the jar as it goes around and the label sticks to itself. The front roller doesn't move much as the jar turns. Any tips?

Hi Lawrence what size label would you need for a 12 once jar?? Also, where did you get that hand operated machine for labelling ?
@BlackMountainHoney3 жыл бұрын
We use a 200mm x 65mm for the 12oz but lots of different sizes work. The machine is the labelroo. I bought it online.

Hi Lawrence, I remembered you did a Labelroo review and have just come back to watch it again. One question, I notice you added your tamper label after the main label, how easy would it be to put the tamper label on first and then look to align the main label such that the tamper label was in the same relative position every time? I ask this because I always put my tamper label on first with the main label over the top. Many thanks Pete
@BlackMountainHoney3 жыл бұрын
Hi Pete. We do tamper labels first and main label over the top. This video does it the other way 😂

@@BlackMountainHoney is it easy to get the position of the labels accurate relative to each other? Ie. Could the tamper label fall in same relative position every time?

Hi, thanks for such an informative video. I wanted to ask if this machine works with any labels on a roll as long as its in a 76mm core? Or do you need to buy labels on rolls from somewhere specific?
@BlackMountainHoney3 жыл бұрын
Hey. No worries. Any labels will with with a 76mm core. Need to be outside wound as opposed to inside wound though. With the short side as the leading edge.
@cryptob17523 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the quick reply 👍, when you say shortest edge leading...what do you mean exactly? Also, is there any minimum size bottle and label this machine uses. We would like to use it for spray perfume bottles, around 10cm tall, 4cm diameter. Labels might only be 4-5 cm wide potentially...is that too small? Thanks
@BlackMountainHoney3 жыл бұрын
@@cryptob1752 Just means the shorter edge needs to come off the side of the roll. Ours are 200mm x 50mm and its the 50mm edge that comes off the side of the roll. Not the 200mm. Should work with your labels I would have thought. Its quite adjustable
@cryptob17523 жыл бұрын
@Black Mountain Honey oh okay, I get what you mean. That might be an issue with ours because our bottles are quite slim? The labels will be maybe 3cm X 9cm, the 9cm will be the edge of the label, 3cm will be top and bottom. So it would need to fed off the 9cm edge.
@BlackMountainHoney3 жыл бұрын
@@cryptob1752 Yes. That might be a bit of an issue. Its likes to wrap around with the narrow edge first.

What causes the bottle to spin when you turn the crank handle? it doesnt look like its connected?
@BlackMountainHoney4 жыл бұрын
it's the label coming out that turns the bottle. It sticks to a portion and the tension in the spool then spins the bottle. Kinda hard to explain

I cant vouch for the aftercare as mine has been flawless but I can vouch for the product. Its AWESOME! Ive jarred over 20k jars in 2 years using this machine. There is literally nothing that can break? Why did you return it if you dont mind me asking?
@Akgo274 жыл бұрын
@@BlackMountainHoney we thought the product would be suitable for our application but as we are using a top sticker, it needed to align a certain way with the label on the jar, we couldn't line it up accurately therefore the presentation was no good. Also, we found it difficult to make the label straight, we followed your video and the instructions provided but no luck making it work properly. Product wise its not bad, but the aftercare has been a pain. As a startup ever penny counts and this has eaten into our budget and we would like to recoup our money.
@BlackMountainHoney4 жыл бұрын
@@Akgo27 Sorry to hear that. Hope you manage to sort it out. Like I said, I cannot vouch for the aftercare but I think the machine is 10/10 for standard label application. Neat and straight every single time. I have no affiliation with them. If I thought it was rubbish I would say. Hope uoi get it sorted and find a suitable alternative
