The village of Irancy, one of the prettiest in all of Burgundy, is also famous for its black cherries... so it can't be a coincidence that this 'Veaupessiot' 2014 smells and tastes of black cherry. Great age on this wine thus far: the nose is reminiscent of leather, marshmallow, black tea; the palate is reminiscent of that characteristic black cherry, with crispy bacon notes and smooth tannins.
Elden Selections brings small-production, high-quality, great-value wines straight to you. We foster personal relationships with winemakers out in Burgundy, where we live-have done for 30 years. We believe in the quality and finesse of the wines we sell, so much so that we stock them in our own cellars. And now, we're inviting you in to join the journey. Open a bottle. Explore Burgundy. We'll leave the cellar door open for you.
