With this setup, you're forced to place all your app's widgets in the tabs array. That will be a really big chunk of code. I'd like to put every tab in a different file but I load data from disk for every page. How do prevent that initstate is called every time a tab is changed?

it's called intellisense, it's available in visual studio code if you install the dart and flutter plugins, and it's also available in android studio with flutter plugin
