Went yesterday to Skegness pleasure beach and literally thought I was going to die on the spinning coaster! It was spinning so fast that I thought it was gonna come off! Never again for me with that one!! Park was busy last night , not used to queuing outside of a theme park did enjoy ourselves though 👍

I once did a funfair Ghost Train that had a dinner scene with a table surrounded by ghouls and skeletons. One of them was a real person pretending to be asleep leaning over the table, jumping up when you passed him. That one got me good, Charlotte would have a heart attack, hahaha.

It’s been several years since I last went to Skeggy. I believe they have a “Skeg Vegas” sign just as you come into town. Flat rides just not for me but I love most of the roller coaster rides. The log flume should be included with the wristband though, £4 per ride person a rip off!

I’ve got a fact for you Shawn about pleasure beach that you might not know about. Bottons pleasure beach is actually owned by the pleasure beach in Great Yarmouth! I don’t know whether technically they’re not cos I don’t know if they trade under different companies but the owners of the two parks can be traced back to the botton brothers which I believe originally opened GY pleasure beach. Great Yarmouth pleasure beach put an instagram post up a few months ago going into a bit more detail (they might have put it on other social platforms too but I’m not sure on that). I guess it would also make sense as to why the drop tower still has the Great Yarmouth logo on the top of it too!

The dodgems operators are strict because the local council in Skegness will take away their operators license if anyone gets hurt, it's in the rules and regulations for the area that's why Butlins is so strict too

VFM!! In the states, dodgems are called bumper cars so what's the point if you can't bump other cars? Also, in the states you never see a guy giving the cars extra spins, probably for some safety reason but you get a better ride! Shawn, I can tell the difference with the new camera, sharper image and a wider view which is very nice if that's what you were using for this vlog!

I’ve never been to Skegness. It’s on my list because I want to do Fantasy Island too. This pleasure beach looks great for families especially the height restricted wrist band. I wonder if you can buy a height restricted wristband for an adult? I cannot do spinning rides. I love big rollercoasters my favourite is Shambhala however I can’t even watch your clip on the waltzer, makes me feel sick. Charlotte wouldn’t like the twister at santapod raceway; that’s too fast for me!
