just in case anyone was wondering: in terms of zelda games, he probably won’t cover the topic just with how much of a time commitment learning about each run is, especially since these games are often quite large and runs are sometimes pretty long. he specifically mentioned about oot that it’d prolly take him half a year to get a video out, which really isn’t worth it since he could probably have made 3 other vids in that time and gotten triple the views. just in case this isn’t known to some people

Responding to your chat response in Akkala, I have less than 60 subs but I still sometimes get randomly stopped at the bus stop because of people who say they watch my streams on Twitch (where I have like idk 20 followers or smth) so suprizingly you dont have to be that big to get randomly recognized in public. To be honest, the demographic that hangs out near that bus stop are mostly people who try to be cool at all costs, so that might explain why it almost exclusively happens at that bus stop, and also mostly when I wait for the bus late (which doesn't happen that often anymore)

For 100% speedruns English is the fastest language. The difference between the fastest and slowest language is 48 seconds but there are a bunch of other languages that are only like 10 seconds slower.

Why do you need that specific datetime at the start?

That's when Daylight Savings Time starts so after 5 minutes pass the system clock jumps back an hour which makes it so that the autosaves we get during the first 5 minutes will not get overwritten for the next hour since they're technically in the future. The Inventory Slot Transfer setup we use to duplicate our materials/arrows in Kakariko requires some autosaves from the Great Plateau because the inventory we have at the start is very limited which gives us more control over how we are able to corrupt and duplicate things. The same effect can be achieved by manually setting the time back after getting the first couple of autosaves but using DST does it automatically which saves ~10 seconds.

All permanent items including: upgraded shiekah slate, all Kilton medals (kill 40 Hinox, 40 Talus, 4 Molduga), horse bridles and saddles, Hestu's Gift, Confidential Envelope (completed Compendium). All unsellable armor fully upgraded: Zora set, Cap/Tunic/Trousers of the Wild, Champion's Tunic, and Thunder Helm.
