BotW All Main Quests Restricted 2:29:50 [Former WR]

AMQR is a run where you complete all the main quests in the game as fast as possible which includes the divine beasts, the master sword, the memories, and then the great plateau tower and the fairy fountain quest. The restriction is that the master sword must be obtained without using any glitches to duplicate hearts or spirit orbs which makes it pretty interesting to route. This was the first sub 2:30:00 for the category but I think it can definitely go down by another 2 to 3 minutes at least. Also important to note but the DLC cutscene isn't included in timing as a convenience for people who don't want to have to uninstall the DLC just to run this category (we don't use any DLC items) which is why the timer doesn't match up with the actual time.

How did you get 800 fairies to sell at rito's village?

That's using a glitch called Inventory Slot Transfer which corrupts the inventory. We're mapping the durability of the pot lid to the fairy count so 8 durability = 800 fairies. ElDuende05 has some good videos talking about it.

Actual how do you get out of the cold area only half a heart down???? anytime a speedrun i end up on 1 and a half by the time i reach the bokos its just not fair

You might be climbing in the wrong spot, running in the wrong spot (therefore staying in the cold area), or taking too long to clip out. I am able to consistently leave with only ½ a heart taken
