They are really great but they definitely didnt win at 2016. In their battle against body carnival they lost and almost everyone can agree on that. However they definitely won at 2015 and 2017 I simply dont think that they should have won at 2016

以前まで、日本のshow caseにはストーリー性がある、というのが共通点だった(個人の見解)。それを期待していた観客はやや盛り下がってる様に伺える。。ルーティンもバチバチに揃って決まっていて、立派なshow caseです👏🏻👏🏻

For me, on the side of breaking, it's the best show: best toprocking, best footwork, nice combinations of footwork, powermoves and freezes, best breaking music, all dancers have unique styles and creativity in their moves, steps and transitions, top b-boying by Taisuke and Nori and top b-girling by Ram, choreography and routine is based on breaking (not on circus art), and synchronity is the best here. But, on the the side of show choreography, Taichung City Hentai's is the best show. Weird, that a few people hate on Flooriorz and their showcase(s), it's like hating on breaking. However, haters gonna hate and breakers gonna break.

初見ぼく「なんだこれ…つまんねーな」 ３回目ぼく「よく見たら、全体的に全く乱れてないな」 ５回目ぼく「つーか、ソロの動きとか超丁寧に作られててフリーズまでの流れが超カッコいいな」 １０回目ぼく「あっ…このショーケースが評価された意味やっと分かったわ」 素直にこんな感想でした。評価されない理由も評価されている理由もなんとなく分かる気がします。 最終的にはバチクソカッコいいです。

There's something wrong with BOTY this year. (Almost) no big names at 1vs1 bboy competition, and a boring best show at crew competition. I mean, what could possibly happen to one of the biggest competitions for breakdancers? Why can't they just accept new concepts, new approach to bboying?

I can understand everybody says it's boring, there was no surprise at all. However this showcase is at least the best showcase in terms of pure dancing with good musicality and nice choreography, in BOTY 2017. (... I like BOTY 2003, 2004, 2005 showcases than this, though.)

A lot of those comments here make me sad and desperate about the development of bboying and hip hop in general. If people think bboying is all about the blow ups and things that make you say "Uhhhhh", then you should call yourself breakdancers, because you haven't comprehended yet, what bboying and dancing is all about. You might want to do powermove-blow-up-shows. That's okay. However, do not call it bboying or hip hop. The same degeneracy we can feel in the rap music scene right now, I think. It's actually cultural blasphemy to call most of the current rap music hip hop. It is rap but not hip hop, in my opinion. So, it is a big relief to me, to listen to the nice mixed old school music, that Floorriorz used in their show, while others are still hooked on the current trend of futuristic trap music. Which is totally okay....but no hip hop, in my view.

As long as you do not forget about the roots and traditions of our culture. I did not complain about evolution in the hip hop culture either, if it is the evolution of the hip hop culture and not a creation of something totally new that is then labelled hip hop, because it cannot fit somewhere else or because hip hop sells well. Let me give you another "odd comparison", shevegen. If you cannot speak isiZulu but only English , you cannot sell any Zulu, that you belong to them, because you think, that English is YOUR evolution of the Zulu language. That's what people try nowadays, when they try to sell breakdancing and gymnastics or trap music and trash rap with the hip hop-tag on it. However, shevegen, I totally accept your view because I can see it from your perspective but I think you are absolutely on the garden path with your attitude.

BOTY was really great in the late 2000s. Now it’s a shithole where seems like no crew can beat this perfect but boring ass show (almost identical since 2015). I mean Flooriorz are really good and as a Japanese guy who’s been following BOTY since 2005, I’m really happy to see them win 3 years in row, but Korea needs to come back forreal.

やっぱりかっこいい。立ち、フットワーク、パワームーブ、フリーズ、シルエット、ミュージカリティ、あらゆる要素の質が高い上に全ての要素がフラットで、全体を通して荒い要素が全くといっていいくらいない。かつオールドスクールな曲選、ブレイクのオンビート、16ビート主体で、それでいてバリエーションも多く揃った立ち踊り、ソロも個々のスタイルを存分に引き出してる。チームのキャラとスタンスがこの6分に集約されている。その上ある程度年を重ねてもスタンスが全くブレていない。シンプルに色んなところが動画越しでも勉強なる。
