Incredible time Emilia! Thanks for participating! I like your tip about the puzzle being symmetrical, when you find a piece that fits, scanning the other pieces to find a match on the other side. I will focus on this on my next attempt.

Thanks! And no problem. It’s something I have always used for finding puzzle pieces even if not symmetrical puzzle. Especially for puzzles that have multiple sections of same color but in different tones. It’s amazing how your brain forgets what were you looking for but with the right piece in your hand it’s like magic trick!

Thanks for sharing your video. I am working the puzzle now ( but very slowly compared to you - just for fun ). One question, how was your puzzle? My puzzle is very badly cut. I can't believe it is Ravensburger. The pieces do not lie flat they are so badly cut, with gaps. Did you see this? It has made working it much harder as I can't tell for sure if pieces are in the right place. 😮

Let's say that Raveburger's cut doesn't have false fits but it's not very smooth either. Especially if the pieces have gotten any softer (by age or during delivery for example) they seem to the way you described. Maybe if it's really bad you can contact Ravensburger and request a new one?
