Thanks for your service. My son is a active duty Marine. A little over 1 year in so far.

I wish midea made an ac for camping. They have units with a smart inverter that converts ac to dc. With no proprietary connection like ecoflow. Midea units with the smart inverter are Probably the most efficient window and portable ACs on the market .

If they ever make one let me know and I’ll see if I can do a review on them! Thanks for the info!

With your Bluetti supplying the power, did you or have you since tested if it would maintain or increase (got warmer) the tent temperature if switched over from turbo mode to normal cooling mode? As you answered below, it draws 700W on turbo and with your Bluetti rated at 2400 watts, that would only last about 3.5 hours. This assumes a 100% duty cycle meaning it would run constantly (no thermostat) and never cycle off (no thermostat) when it reached a pre-determined temperature setting. Does this have a thermostat?

My Bluetti is a 2400 watt Powerstation but I also bring expansion batteries with me. I did not run it on turbo all night. This is a power hungry ac. I just got the new ZeroBreeze MK3 that is a 5k btu. I would hold off from purchasing a BougeRV and watch my review on the ZeroBreeze in the next few weeks. The BougeRV does have a thermostat. The tent did get cooler but the afternoon temps did cool down outside as well.

Any idea how much less battery power it would use from a power station if the fan was on the lowest setting?
@GumbieGear3 ай бұрын
It would pull about 100-150 watts on the fan alone. Not to bad.

What battery system are you going to use for this? Power consumption?
@GumbieGear4 ай бұрын
I use a Bluetti AC240 (2400 watts) or shore power at a state park, but most of the time I am dispersed camping so the Bluetti Power Station works for me.

What about return, you Must Have Return to maintain the proper cycle.

That’s the big debate, some folks don’t run the hose back in, I’ve tried both and with the roof top tent it seems to cool great. In my van it’s a different story and I have the return in the van. Several folks I know run their units both ways. Thanks for commenting and watching the video sir

What do these things cost? I have the Bouge RV fridge and it works great.

Thank you for watching g sir! Right now they go around 800.00 on the BougeRV website. Check Amazon as well and they have sales now and then. Amazon Prime Day is also approaching. Have a blessed day!
