I have a disabled bus pass so 90% of my travel is by bus (sometimes get a lift from my friend) and I feel so bad for bus drivers in some places. There’s one road I know that is extremely sharp and steep, there’s been accidents galore and busses getting stuck/jack knifed because of the hellish bend, and I can’t imagine ever trying to drive that road - a road never designed for a bus, but the council decided “lol this is a great road for a bus”

MAN is a legit German bus and truck manufacturing company, and Lion’s is one of the brandings they give to their buses. Here in Singapore we have a gigantic fleet of their MAN Lion’s City buses, mostly single- and double-decks. And yes people have made jokes based on their company name before. And I dare say the jokes are warranted, as their buses do really come off as more manly compared to buses from other manufacturers. 👀

This isn't an actual accident per say, more of a rather amusing incident. I am military brat, and for what ever season the Canadian Military has decided that al bases must be in the middle of no where (other the Halifax). Anyway grade 12 year on the bus going to school, I hear this thud we look back to find out the bus had hit a wild Turkey. Apparently the stupid thing decided it could not only fly but out run a school bus. Didn't work, it hit the bus near the lights at the top corner (impressive height I think for a Turkey)

I've never been in a bus accident but one of the drivers of a school bus I took throughout high school was an absolute mentalist. They went through red lights almost every other day, occasionally checked their phone, and do 35+ through streets that two busses couldn't fit next to each other on.

A school bus ran over my car! Oddly enough I was hit by a bus it was many years ago but I was driving in Clearwater Florida when I was crushed by a school bus. It was insane. The bus pulled out in front of me and I wasn't able to smash the breaks in time so I hit the bus and the rear tire crushed the entire front of the car. The kids on the bus were terrified and I was quite shook up.
