I would so much like to spend time here, every piece of food be it vegetables, meat, poultry, fish is eaten with much gusto & appreciation. Can you imagine putting ½ a roast ostrich on the dining table & announcing, 'tuck in!'? The great Chinese famine has a lot to do with food & Chinese attitudes. They waste nothing & everything from nose to tail is consumed. I have so much admiration & respect for that attitude. Thank you so much for posting & sharing this amazing vlog. One thing I've noticed about bigger birds is that they taste more like beef or mutton than big chickens, so I guess the size of the animal determines the taste and texture rather than the type of animal

That Ostrich needed fattening up before being slaughtered, all of them at the farm looked quite slim. Getting it fattened up helps with getting tender meat when cooking.
