Jack! I’ve seen it where the oil rings rings will seise to the piston because they do not have as much spring back force and what I’ve done is beat the shit out of it tell it clears up

You can usually just take engine apart and hone the cylinder, also the rings can be unstuck, the water has got the rings stuck which is why it’s smoking!

the Polaris p-85/102c is a very easy clutch to take apart and clean. id defiantly make sure the rollers are okay.

I know this is a off road vehicle but since you already have one, some street tires and a nice swap would be sick on this little contraption if you can maybe stretch it out and lower it on tarmacs fabricate some custom suspension longer arms & end links it’ll be the ultimate little drift machine

I know you want to do a build but those motors are pretty reliable did you do a compression test and leak down on it. that smoke may be burn off from the trans fluid you put down the cylinders and is burning off threw to exhaust.

The “rear diff” is built into the transmission on these and it comes locked from factory so that’s normal

Not a fan of copart since they are known to intentionally lie on auction report, but as long as you got a good deal, your good. Definitely was a mud machine and those guys tend to tear up their machines. For wheels I’d go 14” since most popular tires are sold in that size. Also, if it’s like most other Polaris atv and rzr the cylinder is part of the block. If so, have Millenium Technologies bore/hone + nikasil plate the cylinders for whatever pistons you plan on running.

I’m sorry I don’t know really to much about cars but is the engine is running. Changing head gasket and valve gasket with do it . When you change that of course you are going to available to see if is more damage. Can you by another one cheap with some of the part that you need. Like this one look clean because is other ones really beat up but with those that are really beat up and getting them really cheap just for some of the parts and up grade. I really don’t know I more like asking.
