Caroline personally feel you are taking feminism too far at the expense of demasculating your husband.. Constantly saying that you dont need a man to do anything , you're the boss etc is insulting to Sergio. Imagine he was saying the same !? Maybe his gracious nature coupled with age he tolerates it for now but surely a loving relationship is based on mutual respect. I think demasculatimg men is endemic and tragic because the truth is, we need men to survive whether women like to admit it or not. I know you love him and as a Brit I get your condescending humour but still, it's too much darling . As a Mother of two sons ( me too ) you might want to reevaluate the impact on them also , overly strong Mothers can result in raising weak men. The car is ireelevant, the intentions and how you go about it are certainly not. Perhaps subconciously this was a reprisal for Sergio leaving you for 3 weeks .. proving just how much you need him 🩷
