It's funny there's a Japanese candy called Nerunerunerune and the first thing that came to my mind was Akita Neru upon hearing it, and now I see she has a song called this! XD

Neru - means to lie down, go to sleep, or going to bed. I think that akita means I give up. But I might be wrong. I mostly remember her name (and much of this song) comes from a message a troll used to mess with some people (of Vocaloid). The person used a pitched up Hatsune Miku voice to say a message and at he end of the message they said, "Akita, neru." For, "I give up, I'm going to bed." It was decided that as long as the troll character was cute, they would keep it and named the character after the last words said. Which is why most of the time Akita is a pitched up Miku. However, in Japanese culture, it is believed that trolls are lazy people, so Akita was give the lazy persona of always being on her phone. But also in Japanese culture, lazy people tend to lower voices, so later fans of Akita decided to give her a more fitting voice to the persona, and thus, lower pitched Ren was used.

Well, yes. That's what Neru is. Neru is a fanmade derivative character and not an actual Vocaloid (even though she's been recognized by Crypton), so any song featuring Neru is usually either Miku pitched up, or Rin pitched down.

I prefer a Decreased rin voice like for garbage band -1😰. But I still 😍 the video ! Rin voice decreased fits her more my option .

Yeah, Miku's voice is high enough as it is. I prefer a Rin-based Neru like in Ok, Green is the Enemy. But of course, I didn't write the song, I just translated it. (Though it seems a high Miku is more popular, especially if you look at Owata-P's works...)
