My question is why has he not been known to the world as the guy who sings with his heart in memory of the KIng. I only come across him by accident on 20th March 23. why is that? the world should have known of this guy years ago not just the Dutch people. In all fairness, allow Bouke to be Bouke. Yes he sounds like Elvis, but sounding like, he still is not. I came across Bouke when I was creating my Spotify playlist and I had several of his songs on my list. While he sounds like Elvis, his phrasing and timing of the lyrics is still not like Elvis. Elvis had the Jordanaires when he started out. When Bouke sings Elvis Ballads he gets very close to sing like Elvis. I have Elvis playlist of his top hits, Gospels, Country hits and Ballads and I love Bouke's original songs .... Indeed it is sad that I only recently discovered Bouke. Nederland does not do a good job in promoting Dutch talent. I will go through Bouke's discography to look for more treasures.
