It’s a revolutionary classic that’s why! Came out during the Duvalier era where President Duvalier had gang members of his terrorizing the people and scared them with voudoo and the ignorant confused the light of voudoo w the darkness side, and Boukman came to clear things up and said "Ginen (haitian afrikan cultre/voudoo believer/righteousness) is not Bizango (the strong arm or gang of Duvalier). There’s more to the song but I gave u some gems. That’s why it’s so powerful and resonants to your spirit. I’m glad the light has no dimmed within you. Ayibobo

This song was written after the coop in 93'. They are singing that everyone that tries to hurt the haiti people will be hurt by the spirits(vodou) refering to the dictatorship in haiti.
