09:30 James Pepper decanter. I'm a fan of the bottle and the pour, batch depending, of course. I probably would've pulled the trigger on 1972 Aged 12 & Sweat Wheat as I don't have them yet.

I'm not into flavored cigars. Some of my 'go-to' cigars; Oliva V, Nub(Habano), Rocky Patel (Vintage 1990). Getting a little more 'high-end'; Aston VSG, Padron, most stuff from Arturo Fuente and Tatuaje.

If you're into tequila those two bottles bookending the Weller Rainbow are great. One unicorn, Don Julio Real, and the other almost unicorn, Tapatio Excelencia. Excelencia was barrel aged 5 years then rested in glass for 10 years.

That Mister Sam is such a good pour. Tried it at a Sazerac tasting event up hear in Winnipeg a few weeks ago.

I just bought the Jim Beam winter reserve and sunshine blend in Kentucky over the weekend. Hard to pass up a 6-year toasted barrel for under $30.

Picked up 2 bottles of 1792 Twelve Year at a Meijers in Rockford, IL 3 weeks ago for $47 each. 2 weeks ago, Binny’s in Geneva, IL had 1792 Sweet Wheat and Twelve Year for $48 each. 🥃

The Screaming Titan is very good. I like Redwood Empire offerings, but I’m not a fan of wheated bourbon. I picked one up anyway and was pleasantly surprised.

@@BondingOverBourbon I concur, my local whiskey bar just got a bottle and had a pour there. Worth a pick up. Also, if you're in the Crystal Lake area stop in at the Whiskey Bungelow. He has over 600 whiskies to choose from, only rips off on the per pour price of all the tater bottles like pappy's and BTAC since everyone was just drinking them all up and he hasn't been able to get more.

It's not necessarily fair to lump the whole state together and say the pricing is bad. We recently found ours for about 30% under market value.

I stopped in at the Binny's in Crystal Lake a few weeks back and they had the Shenk's (or was it Bombergers? can't remember) at the front desk limit 1 per person for MSRP. Only these museum stores, which is more and more lately, do that.

For cigars: I like Oliva Melanio V, a lot of Alec Bradley stuff, Kintsugi, AJ Fernandez New World, and sure Cohiba & Montecristo…the Buffalo Trace cigars are trash.

The price for what it is. I paid 79.99 for this bottle, and it had a good nose, but the flavor was very flat and underwhelming to me. In my area, there's plenty of 60.00 dollar bottles that have more to them. New Riff 8, Holliday Soft Red Wheat and the new Wild turkey 101 Jimmy Russell 70 th for 45.99

We're not always fans of it, but sometimes you find an amazing deal that's cheaper than either would be on their own, and it feels great.

First time I've seen JB winter reserve on the shelf 👍, great price on the Heaven Hill bib too . Oak and Eden would be ok if it was $15 a bottle 😉 haven't seen the JB bonded in years. Prices are Alot better than michigan. CHEERS 🥃
