The Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band (www.heartbeatja...) hosted a concert in Middletown CT on April 6, 2013. Heartbeat teamed up with rock and roll legend "Diamond" Dave Somerville (original lead singer of The Diamonds) and RCA recording artist and Grammy award winning producer of B.B. King, Trade Martin, for an afternoon of jazz blended with classic rock. Best-selling children's book author and jazz vocalist, Tish Rabe, joined the party as well. The concert was emceed by the DJ of the stars, Jimmy Jay...host of the Rewind Show.

This Dixieland Jazz Band plays their pieces very nice and crisp! All of the musicians are just great! Now where do they get the breath to play this kind of music, especially the saxophone player? He is something else! Love this group of all ages! SYLVIA! 4/20/21
