There's a store in grandville by Chicago drive and Wilson. Lots of good bottles. All the suspects, eagle rare, Blanton, old Forester. All put on the shelves. Prices are definitely secondary market. Blanton was 199.00. eagle rare was 99

@BeachSandBourbon they were definitely dusty. Good store if you're in a pinch and really really want one of those bottles . I wasn't going to pay those prices especially since I've been finding Blantons for $89-$99 and ER in the $56-$60 range. In the grandville/walker area.

@ I’ve heard that Costco has a nice selection, I’ve just never been there. They usually have good prices.

@BeachSandBourbon I go to Costco maybe 2 times a week (grandville). Haven't found much outside their usual line up. I still look every time though. Sounds like Costco grand openings are where it's at.

Nice selection. Looking forward to the comparison. That Redbreast 12 year cask strength next to the Bardstown is fantastic.

@@pizzawarlord9232 I’ve gotta keep an eye out for a Redbreast 12, it hasn’t been on my radar. I have a huge list and keep grabbing random bottles I have and some that I don’t.

@ love the Redbreast 12 and makes a great introduction to Irish or a first pour for the evening. The Cask Strength version is phenomenal

Great selection. Some of those prices were higher than I like to see. Especially that looked cabinet! Holy cow! Great price on the Woodford reserve sp. 🥃

@@jeffkastl1290 most of those are right in line with prices here in Michigan. The Bottles behind the glass are definitely too high. Woodford is a great pour, I have just found that store pick Woodfords aren’t much different than regular shelfers.

Last time I stopped in there was on the way to a bottle share in Kalkaska. They did get Traveller before everyone else in the area.

That $50 BT Store Pick has been sitting there since last summer. And rightfully so at that price when you can get it for half that at other places in town.

@@NoMiNoMad-x2j Most BT Store Picks down around where we are are anywhere from $39-49, I have never seen a store pick for any less near me. I like the BT Store picks for sure. If you have any suggestions of places we need to visit in TC, I would Love some tips as we will be coming up for the weekend in about 4 weeks.

@@johnboy66717 I had a hard time passing up the Woodford as well. I just have several bottles currently. The Penelope Rye caught my eye as the label was different. I could have spent several hundred dollars in that store! Great store with SEVERAL great bottles at reasonable prices.

Called out a couple of stores advertising BT single barrel store picks this summer in mid michigan, No sticker just the regular ones at $10 more and got kicked out of the store soon after 🤔😉

I stopped at geyers this summer and they were advertising a BT store pick, but none of the bottles had the sticker. Glad to see perhaps they were just mistaken on which delivery was their pick instead of just intentionally trying to scam people

@ I know quite a few stores that I deal with have had some delays. They are told their delivery will be on a certain date and it sometimes comes in 1-2 weeks later. I doubt they were trying to scam anyone, the sticker has information on it that can be verified thru BT, if they try anything they would get in some serious trouble. I have a local store that had a shipment that sat in the distribution warehouse for a month.

Bama made the Penelope Toasted Rye an allocated bottle, hopefully I'll get it somewhere. 40 for a SP of BT is too much. I'll pass on that stores prices.

@@StevenScone I think this may have been the first bottle I have seen on the shelf in Michigan. They seem to make a ton of bottles allocated here! IMO Allocations are a Joke!

Wow in Virginia (state controlled) it came out maybe 2 months ago or more now. And not allocated which is surprising considering Virginia is a super heavy regulated state

@@freespeech1582 The Amburana was a good bottle. The others had some type of “Funkiness” kinda like the “Texas Funk” I get from Texas Whiskey. Definitely a little off putting for sure.
