Apparently, players do listen and take corrections. Two things I noticed today, Partey no longer squanders possession trying to make line-breaking passes every time he gets the ball and Odegaard has decided he'll shoot more now.

Partey's line breaking passes is what makes him dangerous and an excellent 6, it works more often than not. His poorest game passing wise was last week against Leicester which is an outlier. He doesn't need to always force the ball now cause the team has improved and doesn't need him to always play the line breaking passes.

Saka get's double/triple marked every game now so no wonder he's been fairly muted. Unlike season's past, this would usually impede our attacking intent but such is the quality this season with Jesus and Martinelli, we can go elsewhere to get goals. As the season progresses, opposition teams will catch on, allowing Saka to shine again.

Absolutely spot on.....I believe most teams have analyzed our games from last season and they believe if they can hold Saka, they will be able to keep us quiet. Unfortunately for them, we have more attacking options now and Saka can keep it simple...I also believe he no longer feels the pressure to push to get us goals and chances, since we have loads of options. So rather than trying to force his way into the opposition's defense or beat players he just plays the easier ball to other available players who can also create magic...

Flawless victory. Odegaard haters can pipe down. So important with the build-up play, controlling and he's scoring. Partey was a beast. This is the Partey we signed from Madrid. Saliba with an absolute screamer, bloody fantastic. He going to be a very important this season. Zinchenko in that inverted rol, is so good. Makes us so dangerous attacking and creating so much more. To bad that goal from Jesus was offside. But he'll come back. But Jesus doesn't have to score twenty plus goals. We're scoring goals all over the pitch! Nine points out of nine matches. I hoped to see Elneny at single 6 for 20 minutes or so, just to see if he can handle it or Xhaka needs to drop back as a double pivot. Could be key to our performance at cup games. But nothing much to complain about the performance overall, although we did misplace a few passes near our goal in the second half.

You would have seen it, when he was subbed off. Man kept Bournemouth at bay, they couldn't try any attack because they need two players to hold Saka everytime. The downfall of the big teams when we play them will be to have one player marking Saka, they'll pay hugely for that mistake.

Reason why saka and ødegaard are more quiet this season has a lot to do with ben white playing in that rb position. Dont get me wrong, white has been great defencively, allows zina to push up on the left and all that. But he isnt bringing the dynamic that tomi has with ødegaard and saka on the right. I cant wait to see what happens when tomi returns to that position.

Two players with such skill on the ball interchanging and making triangles in the midfield around partey could be lethal. They are also both of them very aggressive and have amazing stamina. i think they would make people dizzy

@@wildchild3862Personally i disagree, if you rewatch the match there was a good few occasions Saka had the ball in n attacking position and he doesnt want to run at the defender, he seems to do alot without actually doing anything for example Kulusevski today everytime he gets the ball within 2 touches the ball is in the box n hes created a chancs or had a shot at goal, Saka at the moment seems to look for the easy way out

@@Ty01386 i hear you bro, i also think he is indescisive at times. Cant make up his mind whether to pass or challenge and ends up loosing the ball in some half assed attempt at both or neither. My point was that i think the movement dynamic on that side is altered with ben white there and thats part of the reason. We dont see so many of those intuitive passes and through balls to saka from Ø on that side either. The two of them reaked havoc last year, the standout combination play of the entire season for me was that spinning backheel leading the goal Ø scored. That was so intuitive and fluid it was incredible.

For all those wondering why Saka doesn’t stand out as much is simple, English people overrated any and every single English player on the face of the earth.. saka will grow and may get slightly better, but that’s it, his level is good but not great, when he is in his prime hes gonna be like any other English player overhyped at a young age like Delle Allí, Rashford, Greenwood, Mount, Wilshere, Walcott, Sterling etc… his potencial is not to be great he is limited because he is English, he will just be a good little player the rest of his career, but Arsenal have real world class qualities in the foreign players!!!!
