Both are beautiful, we may be a bit biased as we're all about Bournemouth (and Poole)! But Weymouth is a beautiful town too, in fact Weymouth got voted as having the best beach in the UK! You can get the train from Bournemouth directly to Weymouth if you fancy a day trip out. I personally prefer Weymouth even though I live in Bournemouth. Both different. I think Weymouth is more of a seaside town. To me Bournemouth is like London by the sea. The countryside near Weymouth is beautiful whereas a Bournemouth is more town like.
