Hey, I'm back 😊 For those of you wondering where I've been: 1. I started to lose my voice last fall due to poor vocal mechanics and talking 5+ hrs a day at work. Then I got a virus and lost my voice completely. It's taken months for my throat/voice to recover 2. It bears repeating what he said about letting arty take the fist shot. The enemy has a arty-stunned crew, which INCREASES the likelyhood that when you shoot behind a bush, you will not get spotted by the stunned crew.

Excellent as always. Its like watching an advanced driving instructor talk through their actions and thought process. What I've learnt particularly from this video is when NOT to fire. On both games towards the end play you choose not to fire and let the arty take the shot. I think most of us would have fired which is why we are not purple. Glad you're back!

Awesome guide, Bourrasque just went on sale, and I picked one up after missing the event when it first came out. I was struggling in it, averaging a 1200wn8. Right after I watched this guide and started applying the tactics from it, I went immediately in about 4 battles to a 1800wn8. Turns out I was playing it all wrong, thank you so much for releasing this, and saving me from 'buyers remorse'.

Great seeing you back, Taugrim! Hope you are doing well and your health issues are gone. I like the Baguette video and your playstyle - i am struggeling with it especially in Tier10 match-ups. One critic: In the video you are negative on premium ammo and that you need premium tanks and/or premium for that. The Baguette is one of many premium tanks that were available through a marathon. Wargaming gives out free stuff like these marathons, Tank Rewards, Scavenger Hunts etcpp. Looking forward seeing more videos from you :)

Fair enough, but keep in mind to earn the tank for 100% free requires more time than many players have the time to put in. That is, it's not realistically free for most people, it just ends up having a discount available for purchase.

Taugrim yeah I had a knee injury and a lot of time to play: as an average player I got to 90% discount but they certainly CANNOT be said to 'give these tanks away for free' the way they have been structuring these marathon missions. It would be a lot more fun if that grind was a little easier for more people, IMO. I heard a lot of people complaining about getting burnt out on WoT because of trying to grind these marathons, and I felt it myself for sure: after getting bourrasque even though my first five games were all good by my standards I still had to take a break because I was just too burnt out.

Yea I think these marathons are too grindy in general. Although with COVID-19 people are home a lot more compared to normal. Before I got to be a Community Contributor, I'd typically grind up to a 50% discount, then decide how much I wanted the tank.

I used to play a lot in TDs the only time I was not behind bushes was when I would hug the far edge of the map with people spotting for me up front. I'm sure people hated getting blasted by something they couldn't see. The only two I would bully alongside the heavies were the AT2 and the Jagdpanzer E100. The AT2 was a rock back then and the Jag E100 I think my record for damage blocked was 11,000 or so. Angle that armor with the front glacis hidden and wiggle to make the machine gun hard to hit.

Very nice game since I started watching your content I have stop using premium ammo as much probably 90% less overall and not once have I used any in the last month , you have helped me get better thank you . My current favourite tank at the moment is the t44 with the 122mm 175pen gun been having such a good time with it using my brain to get side shots or trying to remember where I can overmatch armour on what tank , when you stop relying on the nuber2 button the game becomes much more interesting thanks again

Were you playing it like an over-aggressive close-range autoloader? I see lots of people doing that. That might work if the gun handling and agility are better, but both aspects of the tank are very poor.

I was playing it as if it was a medium when it really seems to be more of a light tank with a very big 2 second bite. This afternoon after I watched your vid my win rate went up dramatically. I decided that improved vert stabs and a an improved gun laying device would help with the aiming issues, so no vents. I may revisit that later. However, it drives like a school bus so no fancy maneuvers. Many thanks for putting me on the right path.

Glad to hear your doing much better with the Bourrasque! ✌️ Yes, for every autoloader, VStab is essential. I prefer Vents for the overall boosts, including to view range and clip reload, but there's a valid argument for GLD. The tank really does turn like a school bus, like you said.

Borrasque has become my go-to premium. Progetto is still the best prem tank IMO but Borat has extra fun factor, it plays somewhat like a LT and packs a nice punch with that 2 sec 700 burst. It falls in one of the two categories which make a tank enjoyable to play: fun and comfortable. It's the former ofc, comfortable is for tanks with few of those qualities: decent mobility, gun depression, turret armor and fire power (e.g. Fatton, STB, Progetto 65). P. S. Looking forward to more content of yours.

The hull cannot pivot in place which is the reason for reduced traverse. I love the bourrasque as I love the bc12t hull

@@allankay12 it's meant to be a close range brawler. Unload then run away. It's not meant to snipe hence aim time is longer than intra clip

I'm a 4.5k battles player and i had never played this Kind of light paper medium before but turns out this is now the tank in wich i'm the best at ! I have 60% WR and aproximately 800-900 average exp.

Taugrim, Upon second viewing, the second replay was extremely lucky there are many times that you could have been killed by arty by remaining in the same location and being spotted multiple times. Having had time to play a lot of matches recently I find myself getting focused by arty in light and medium tanks even when I'm bottom tier in +2mm playing the same locations on the same map.
