Boutique Hotel / Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah

For our anniversary we stayed at Hotel Monaco (a Kimpton Hotel) in downtown Salt Lake City. We arrived at Hotel Monaco and learned about all their amenities, including but not limited to coffee and tea all day, bicycles and scooters available to use, and a yoga mat in your room. The one amenities I wish we would have know about was getting a plant pal for your room. If anyone has gone to a Kimpton Hotel and has borrowed a plant we would love to know how your experience was.
The Hotel is boutique and quaint, it's brightly colored and the rooms are well kept. My favorite part of the room was the giant jacuzzi tub and the amazing smelling bath products.
Hotel Monaco's location its perfect, walking distance to many venues. We had dinner at Ruth's Chris just around the block and walked around the Gallivan Center.
If you are in downtown Salt Lake City we recommend staying at Hotel Monaco.

People buy me plants and they die pretty quick. So I probably shouldn't go borrowing plants from hotels. But it is a cool idea. That jacuzzi tub does look amazing. I would spend a good deal of time in there. This looks like a really nice hotel. We have never heard of Kimpton Hotels. But I just Googled them and it does look like there are several within driving distance of our house. Might be time for a road trip. Thanks for sharing this hotel tour. The hotel looked like a good option to stay in. Looked like a little WiFi unit on the wall and it is always nice to have good WiFi in a hotel. You can't go wrong with Ruth's Chris, we have always had a good meal there.
