And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

As an avid archery elk hunter I absolutely loved the footage in this video! However the amount of blown opportunities caused by silly mistakes that an experienced archery elk hunter should know not to commit in this video drove me crazy! These guys had that elk walking to his deathbed as those cows funneled to the right but they blew it because they wouldn’t hold still and spooked that cow. Elk’s eyes can pick up on the tiniest movement but if you stay completely still often they won’t notice you or think your a normal object in the woods. Get out from behind stuff and put your back to the brush this will let your camo do it’s job, then hold still and if you draw at the right moment you’ll get the shot!

You get so many animals in a frenzy and they're rutting and bugeling and your heart's pumping and your adrenaline is flowing and It's a real crazy scene. When you're in it, it's even more intense. A gut shot is nothing to sneeze at. I've taken several deer that way. They usually go just a bit farther than they would have with a lung shot, and may take a little longer to die, but a kill is a kill. Congrats on the great harvest!
