There are 4 bolts on either side of the sprit, and two bolts on the dolphin striker. It’s incredibly secure; obviously you can stand on it or it’ll take the full load of a symmetrical or code zero Sale in pretty much any breeze

@@ClayBabcock thanks for the info. Size of bolts? 1/4? Into the hull ya? I'm thinking of doing the same but curious on loads from code zero. Not doubting it, trying to do it myself. Boat size? Thanks!

@@markparent5479 i’d have to go back and look, but they were at least a quarter of an inch, maybe 5/8 or metric equivalent. Like most boats, our boat is very strong there due to general construction, and the fact that the two sides of the hull and meet the deck in a triangulated structure, giving immense strength I’ve never ever worried about the loading.

Were you able to purchase this in the States or did you have to order it directly from Gold Service Rigging? I am restoring an Alden 44 cutter over in Knife River, MN and this could solve issues I am having with the original anchor set up.

Hi Tim. I bought it straight from Gold Service Rigging. Dealt with them directly, and they are very easy to business with, and in English. At the time I had to arrange for my own shipping, now they will do this to make the process easier.
