Hi Wendy, we have multiple video most of them contain both stills and video footage of the installations and of how they control the boat in the water. The whole installation is very detailed and requires a lot of experience and some specialized tools, such as our custom made hole saws. We have been installing bow and stern thrusters for over 20 years. If you are interested in having one installed please call of email for a quote. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them. -Amelia

Looks like it is a very strong hull with that thickness of fibreglass. While the method used to drill the hull is excellent, one could do it with much simpler tools. The thruster propeller is beautifully made and those blades are the best one can have in a propeller. Well done. Unlike what some people think, the thruster does not have a great effect on the original speed. It is interesting that in any aircraft and seacraft, it is not the front end that is critical for speed but the back end where the water tries to separate and causes a vacuum as in displacement hulls, so it is the back end that needs to be cared about as the water does not like to return to fill the trough that the boat made in passing through the water. IN fact a good look at a bird or any fish one finds that the front end is generally rounded but the back part is so long tapering off to minimise the rear angle where a vacuum can form. For planing hulls well as straight run at the back is all it needs provided the centre of gravity is placed correctly. Incidentally at the front end the water is not to be accelerated sideways too quickly but considering the front and back end , it is better to see to the back end as birds and fish do. Evolution has seen to a good design before we ever did.
