Yes he did. I think if the crowd was much younger they would have shown some type of love because most of the people look to be about my age. But like you said albeit they were like sticks in the mud. I'm not saying they had to be jumping up and down but at least when he said "put your hand in the air like this" they could have shown some type of love. You only see a few people jamming along but like a true performer he still put on a show regardless.
